Nemasys Leather Jacket Killer treatment contains Steinernema feltiae, this is a microscopic worm (native entomopathogenic nematode) that can be used to control the infestation of Crane Fly Larvae in a natural, safe and effective way.
There are two suitable application windows in the leatherjackets life cycle. The first window is during late summer/ early autumn, roughly around early August to end of October, then the second window is the following spring around March to April.
For the best results, apply the product to moist turf from early August as this will target the pests at the early stage of their life cycle when they are easier to control.

Application Rates
- OPTIMAL CONTROL Window 1 – August to the end of October: 1 pack per 500 square metres.
- REDUCED CONTROL Window 2 – March and April: 1 pack per 250 square metres.
NOTE: Soil temperatures must always be at least 12ºC at the time of application.
